The Malawi Investment and Trade Centre (MITC) has signed an agreement with African Export-Import (Afrexim) Bank, designating the centre as the official Africa Trade Gateway agent in Malawi.
The agreement will enable Malawian exporters to trade seamlessly across Africa without traditional reliance on the United States (US) Dollar while settling payments instantly through the Pan-African Payment and Settlement System.
