Vixens will play in the minor semifinal after finishing fourth on the table with 32 points from 14 matches.

“We have done our homework. There are areas that we have worked on after Sunday’s match and we are ready,” she said.
The former Kukoma Diamonds superstar may have finished the match on the losing side but Vixens’ website acknowledged her sterling performance throughout.
“Debutant Erin O’Brien looked to make life hard for MJ [Kumwenda] but the Vixens shooter wasn’t deterred, keeping her cool under the post and creating space with incredible footwork. Em began to find her feet with a handy intercept, while MJ stood tall at the other end of the court, shooting at 96 percent accuracy for the first half.
“MJ Kumwenda (42 goals) owned the space under the post, outmuscling Tilly McDonell while Kiera Austin (2 super shots, 90 percent accuracy) moved out front to open up space in the circle,” a report reads.
