Profits for the State-owned microlender National Economic Empowerment Fund (Neef) fell sharply by 49 percent in 2025, dropping from K814 million in 2024 to K408 million.
This is according to the Ministry of Finance’s 2024-25 Consolidated Report for State Owned Enterprises in Malawi.
