Parliament last evening passed a revised K8.589 trillion mid-year budget, an increase of K512 billion from the original financial plan passed in March, after nearly four hours of scrutiny.
The adjustment, tabled by Finance Minister Joseph Mwanamvekha, introduces significant reallocations across ministries, with some votes receiving additional resources while others face cuts.
