Malawi National Football Team attacking midfielder Peter Banda has rejoined FCB Nyasa Big Bullets, just a day after parting ways with Tanzanian giants Simba SC.
The talented star has signed a four-month contract with Bullets until the end of the season, Bullets announced on their official Facebook page Tuesday.
Banda, who arrived in the country Tuesday, said he was excited to come back home.
“I am back to the club that I love and I am very excited to rejoin the team. I was not having game time at Simba; so, I decided to come back.
It was easy for me to make this decision because of the love I receive from the coach and the fans,’” Banda told Bullets media.

This could be a big boost for Bullets’ tittle defence this season as well as in the second round of the Caf Champions League as they face Democratic Republic of Congo side TP Mazembe on September 16 at Bingu National Stadium.
Banda, son to Bullets legend the late Chikondi, will be available for selection subject to international clearance.
For the past two years, the youngster has struggled with injuries in Tanzania, such that they kept him out of the team for the better part of last season.
He struggled with knee, ankle and shoulder injuries since last year.

However, Banda said he was geared for the new challenge.
“I will give it all to this club. I am still the same player and I will try my level best to do the job for my new team. There is a lot to play for,” he said.
Banda is the second Malawian player to return home after Francisco Madinga, who rejoined Mighty Mukuru Wanderers following the expiry of his deal in Botswana.
However, renowned lawyer David Kanyenda said the return of the two players was regrettable.
“Our expectations were that they would make the grade in foreign leagues and play there for at least five years. But rather than staying idle and searching for clubs, they have made a wise decision to return home,” Kanyenda said.
Before moving to Moldova, where he played for Tiraspol Sheriff, Banda won two consecutive titles with Bullets.
He was also named Player of the Season in his debut season.
