Fiscal police in Blantyre Wednesday arrested the former Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) Director General after hours of interrogation.
Kasakula’s wife, Flora Suya, confirmed the arrest, saying she was not yet aware of the charges against her husband.
“He was taken to Blantyre Police Station around 5 or 6 am. So far, the charges are not really clear. I spoke to the lawyers, but they too did not give me much information,” Suya said.
