The country’s largest multilateral donor, the World Bank, rues the effects of bad economic policies and poor governance on external support in the country.
The bank has spent about $1.8 billion in Malawi under its Country Partnership Framework (CPF) since 2021, as more aid will be accessed up to mid next year when the CPF expires.
