The Scorchers will face Tanzania on June 3 in Dar es Salaam before facing Ghana three days later.

During the tournament, the Scorchers lost 5-0 to Australia in the first game before a 3-2 loss to India in the third place-off.
The Scorchers are using the matches as part of preparations for the upcoming 2026 TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) finals slated for July 25 to August 16 in Morocco.
Malawi played an unprecedented 17 matches last year including matches against Morocco, South Africa, Zambia, Ghana and Lesotho.
Fam Operations Director Gomezgani Zakazaka said the two matches would be good preparations for the Wafcon finals.

This will be the third time for the Scorchers to meet Tanzania but have lost two previous matches at Cosafa Women’s Championship.
Malawi lost 1-0 to Tanzania in the 2021 Cosafa Cup decider in Port Elizabeth before a 3-1 loss in the group stage.
Malawi lost 3-1 to Ghana in a friendly match in Morocco last year.
Sports analyst Parry Chinyama said the two friendly matches would be a good opportunity for the Scorchers to fine tune ahead of Wafcon finals.
“It is a rare opportunity for the Scorchers to prepare for Wafcon finals.
Fam has done well to secure friendly matches for Scorchers,” he said. Meanwhile, Scorchers coach has named a 32-member squad ahead of the two matches.
Fazili has included France-based captain Tabitha Chawinga, US based striker Temwa Chawinga, TP Mazembe defender Chimwemwe Madise, Morocco based striker Sabina Thom, Egypt based striker Vanessa Chikupila and Zambia based duo of Sarah Mulimbika and Tendai Sani.
Fazili was not readily available for his comment Sunday.
