“We are thrilled to reveal to all our fans and stakeholders the initial talent line-up, which blends local and international acts across a breadth of creative realms and a mix of styles and approaches,” Zizwa said.
He said the lineup entails the meaningful integration and cultural exchange between Malawi and the global scene.
Some of the hosts of UMP Festival include Nicole Kamwendo, Junior Cee, Sam Kabambe, Mwai Simbota and DJ Goxy.
Junior Cee said he felt honoured to be part of the hosting team.
“The development is more like a home coming because I was in the organising team of the first ever UMP in 2009 and over a decade later, the festival is now international. I am excited and I cannot wait to jump on that stage and play my role as host,” he said.
