Former Chief Secretary to the President Colleen Zamba will not appear before the Public Accounts Committee (Pac) in its inquiry into the purchase of Amaryllis Hotel by the Public Service Pension Trust Fund (PSPTF), according to her lawyer George Kadzipatike.
In a letter The Daily Times has seen and which Kadzipatike confirmed was sent to the Clerk of Parliament, the lawyer says Zamba cannot appear before Parliament as she is unwell and is also facing a case related to the Amaryllis Hotel matter.
She is reportedly receiving medical treatment outside the country.
