Speaker of Parliament Sameer Suleman has engaged private lawyer Bright Theu of Nicholls and Brookes to represent him in a court case challenging 12 committees established to investigate public concerns.
The development comes after concerned citizen Austin Mkoka obtained an injunction restraining Suleman and Parliament from establishing or operationalising the joint ad hoc committees pending determination of his application for judicial review.
