Blantyre will be packed with so many happenings offering Valentine’s Day celebration tomorrow with prominent ones being Love and Vibes concert and Valentine’s Comedy show at Sunbird Mount Soche Hotel and Apollo Auditorium respectively.
The two Valentine’s Day events are happening on the same night and close to each other.
At Sunbird Mount Soche Hotel, Classic Events and DJ Kenny are out with Love and Vibes concert giving lovers a romantic night powered by Premier Bet.
Classic Event’s Edson Kawalala said Thursday they were 100 percent ready to give lovers a treat with love songs from well-known musicians such as Patience Namadingo, Saint Realest, Teddy Makadi, Mazani and Loiso.
“Love and Vibes concert is a Valentine’s Night for lovers, singles and everyone in between. We just had to do something on Valentine’s Day, it is part of our celebration of love,” Kawalala said.

He said they have curated the event in a special way with the artists set to give lovers an unforgettable selection of love songs.
“It is a rich line-up of artists, who have powerful love songs in their catalogues. We have also added Malonie Kys, who is trending with ‘Wachita Kudutsa Dala’ by public demand,” Kawalala said.
While lovers will be enjoying love sounds at Sunbird Mount Soche, at Apollo Auditorium, a play titled Dzulo Silero will be premiered in an event dubbed Valentine’s Comedy show.
The cast of the production includes former Vice President Michael Usi popularly known as Manganya in the theatre world and activist Bon Kalindo better known as Winiko.

“It is a time for people to forget their challenges and just have fun and at the same time get the message from the production,” Usi said.
Other actors that are part of the cast include Ferguson Magona, Enifa Chiwaya, Linda Chatha, Margaret Chikwembeya and Mai A Sikono.
“Let people come and experience something different otherwise, there will be laughter throughout,” Usi said.
