FCB Nyasa Big Bullets have underlined their hunger to progress in the Caf Champions League after chartering a plane to travel to Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of Congo for their tie against TP Mazembe.
Bullets will leave on Friday ahead of the second leg of the second preliminary round slated for Saturday.
The team’s chief administration officer Albert Chigoga confirmed the development but could not be drawn to disclose the costs of chartering a plane.
“We are chartering and we will leave on the morning of Friday and return on October 2. It is purely for convenience purposes,” he said.
The People’s Team intend to overturn the tables, having lost the first leg 1-0 at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe on September 17, when Malian forward Cheick Omar Fofana scored for the visitors.

Bullets must win by at least a two-goal margin to upset the five-time champions, who are no strangers in the continental championship.
Meanwhile, attacker Peter Banda has been declared fit to travel to Lubumbashi, having missed the last two matches for Bullets.
Chigoga said they are excited with Banda’s return, hoping that the midfielder will add balance and attacking options.
