FCB Nyasa Big Bullets will face UD Songo of Mozambique in an international friendly match next week as part of preparations for the 2024 season.
The match will be played on March 23 in Tete Province, Mozambique.
The development comes after the club announced that it would not hold the annual pre-season international tournament due to unspecified reasons.

Bullets Chief Administration Officer Albert Chigoga said preparations for the trip to Mozambique are at an advanced stage.
“It is an important match for us as we are preparing for the season. We believe that the match will assist the technical panel to assess some of the players,” Chigoga said.

The trip to Mozambique comes after Bullets spent one week in Mponela, Dowa District, where they had pre-season training and played two strength-testing matches against Kalembelembe and Chatoloma FC.
However, Bullets might travel to Mozambique without some of their key players, as they are with the Malawi National Football Team ahead of the four-nation tournament slated for next week.
Bullets have contributed goalkeeper Innocent Nyasulu, defenders Blessings Mpokera, Yamikani Mologeni, midfielders Patrick Mwaungulu, Lanjesi Nkhoma, Yankho Singo, Lloyd Aaron, Chikumbutso Salima and striker Ephraim Kondowe.
Chigoga said the team has a lot of players capable of matching Songo pound for pound.

Songo are home to two Malawian players namely captain John Banda and defender Miracle Gabeya.
Banda is likely to miss the friendly match against Bullets as he is expected to lead the Flames during the four-nation tournament.
Songo are coached by immediate-past Mighty Mukuru Wanderers coach Mark Harrison.
The two teams also met at the 2023 pre-season tournament in which Songo won 1-0 to lift the trophy at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre.
Meanwhile, Bullets have announced that they will parade the four trophies they won in the 2023 season this coming Saturday.
They say they will do so in Blantyre.
The parade has been organised in conjunction with their sponsors First Capital Bank.
FCB Head of Marketing and Communications Twikale Chirwa said the parade would give fans an opportunity to celebrate the historical achievement.
“You will recall that this is the first time that a single club has won a quadruple and the charity shield in domestic football. As for the convoy, we will have Malawi bikers and our official team bus,” Chirwa said.
The parade will take place from Ndirande branch to their main Blantyre branch, with the bank dishing out free FCB Bullets merchandise.
Bullets won the TNM Super League, Castel Challenge Cup, Airtel Top 8 and FDH Bank Cup.
