TNM Super League leaders FCB Nyasa Bullets and Dedza Dynamos have contrasting missions when they clash at Kamuzu Stadium this afternoon.
Bullets will be hoping to extend the lead at the summit of the log table as they are tied with Silver Strikers on 25 points from 12 matches. But Bullets have played a game more.
Straight from their 3-0 victory over Blue Eagles at the same venue, Bullets have a chance to open a three-point gap at the top of the log table if they get a positive result in today’s match.
On the other hand, Dedza intend to return to winning ways having gone three consecutive matches in the league without a win.
Dedza are on position 10 on the log table with 14 points from 12 matches.

They lost 2-1 away to Karonga United.
This is the third match between the two sides in Malawi football history.
The league leaders claimed a double over Dedza last season after beating them by 1-0 and 2-1 margins.
Bullets Assistant Coach Heston Munthali believes his troops will show maturity.

“We have told the players not to underrate them [Dynamos} but to put in a lot of effort so that we get maximum points. We have faith in the same players and we are looking forward to the match,” Munthali said.
Bullets will be without four key players namely Lanjesi Nkhoma, Patrick Mwaungulu, Frank Willard and Alick Lungu due to national team engagements.
In reaction, Dynamos Coach Gilbert Chirwa was optimistic that his charges will show great character against Bullets.
“We are going there to win the match. We know it will not be easy but we are ready for them,’’ Chirwa said.
In other matches today, third-placed Chitipa United will host Mighty Tigers at Karonga Stadium whereas Civil Service United will meet Moyale Barracks at Civo Stadium.
