Immediate-past FCB Nyasa Big Bullets assistant coach Fischer Kondowe has filed a complaint with the Labour Office in Blantyre, calling out the team for unlawful dismissal and termination of contract.
This comes two weeks after the club claimed that the former midfielder had left on mutual consent.
Documents which Times Sport has seen indicate that Kondowe has filed a complaint in which he is indicating that his dismissal was unlawful.
He claims that he was not afforded an opportunity to defend himself before his contract was terminated—a violation of natural justice principles and the terms of his employment contract.
Kondowe contends that the dismissal breaches Section 56(1) of the Employment Act No. 6 of 2000, which governs fair termination procedures.
