The Malawi National Football Team, the Flames, has been handed what others have described as a “fair” draw in the 2027 TotalEnergies Pamoja Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifiers.
The team is in Group B alongside record seven-time African champions Egypt, 2023 Afcon quarterfinalists Angola and South Sudan.
The draw took place at the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, Tuesday.
