Congo-born Malawian striker Mayele Malango has joined United States League (USL) championship side Sacramento Republic FC on a two-year contract.
This follows his departure from another USL side, Monterey Bay Football Club, on Tuesday.
In his Facebook message, Malango hailed the club and fans for their support.
“Although it is time to say goodbye, I am grateful for the time we have shared together. To the community, thank you for welcoming me with open arms and making me feel at home,” he said.
“Thank you all for the incredible memories and for being part of this amazing journey. I will always cherish my time with the Monterey Bay FC,” Malango added.

According to Pan-Africa Football website, Malango has penned a two-year contract with Sacramento Republic.
The Kinshasa-born striker is among Sacramento Republic’s new players along with Ghanaian Forste Ajago.
He netted five goals for Monterey in 30 matches last season.

Malango opened his Flames scoring account in a 1-0 victory over Lesotho in an international friendly match played at Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein, South Africa, in November last year.
Meanwhile, Flames defender Maxwell Paipi has joined Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League side Platinum.
The club announced his arrival on Tuesday.
“We are proud to welcome Paipi, a strong and committed defender, to the family,” a Platinum Facebook post reads.
Platinum also have two other Malawian players, namely defender Nixon Nyasulu and midfielder Precious Phiri.
However, striker Vincent Nyangulu was released at the end of his contract.
