The Malawi Darts National Team has secured a silver medal after finishing second during the World Darts Federation Qualifiers in Nairobi, Kenya.
Malawi finished behind Tanzania.
Darts Association of Malawi (Dam) President, Peterkins Kayira, said they were impressed with the team’s performance.
“We were the most impressive, neatest, and most disciplined team. Our players adapted quickly to new systems, showing the depth of talent in Malawi. We are satisfied because of what we had experienced in Kenya. It was a lovely tournament,” Kayira said.
Despite the strong showing, Malawi did not qualify for the World Cup, as only the tournament winners advanced.
