Beam Trust has since flown Kadankowa to Lilongwe, the first flight experience for him.
“There is power in talents that we have and we, as young people, should utilise these talents. Without poetry, I would not have had the opportunity to fly. Let me thank The Times Group and Goshen City, through Malawi Has Talent, for exposing me,” he said.
As a winner, the poet, who outclassed nine other finalists, received K35 million.
He has since said he will use part of the money to publish a book of poetry.
