Lilongwe-based Ascent Soccer Academy Wednesday received a major financial boost after Nico Group announced a landmark K900 million three-year sponsorship package to support the academy’s grassroots programmes.
The sponsorship was unveiled at Kamuzu International Airport in Lilongwe before Ascent’s Under-16 girls and Under-14 boys teams departed for Sweden and Iceland to participate in the Gothia Cup and Rey Cup this month.
