Mighty Mukuru Wanderers Board will meet Central Region Supporters Committee warring factions at Crown Lodge Tuesday in a move aimed at resolving wrangles dividing executive committee members.
A section of fans is calling for the immediate firing of the committee’s chairperson Rodrick Chitedze, who is being accused of sabotaging the team and setting parallel structures in the Central Region.
Ironically, Wanderers board has stepped in after some fans penned the team’s president Thom Mpinganjira explaining their grievances.
Wanderers acting Chief Executive Officer Roosevelt Mpinganjira said they want to bring sanity to the team by resolving the issue.
“We need to move on as a club that is in the process of being run commercially. We cannot afford to have squabbles in the team. We first met a fortnight ago at Crossroads Hotel and we agreed on some resolutions. This is a follow-up meeting, where we want to fully finalise the matter,” Mpinganjira said.

Meanwhile, the team’s Central Region Supporters Committee General Secretary Bishop Mark Chimwenje confirmed agreeing to attend the meeting.
“We are happy that the board has shown seriousness to end this feud. We cannot afford to go on like this. We all want the team to do well in league and cup games. Let us see how it ends,” he said.
In the letter addressed to the club’s president, some members blamed the other faction for sabotaging the team when the side lost to Extreme FC 1-0.
The Nomads are third in the league with 17 points, four points behind leaders Silver Strikers and three points behind second-placed FCB Nyasa Bullets.
