TNM Super League side Mighty Wanderers has signed a one-and-a-half-year partnership with water and liquor manufacturing company Island Beverages.
The signing ceremony took place at Wanderers Club House in Blantyre yesterday.
The partnership will see the company providing water through its brand Kasupe to all Wanderers teams, including the main team, reserve side and the women’s team.
Wanderers Chief Executive Officer Panganeni Ndovi hailed the partnership with Island Beverages.
“This partnership with Island Beverages shows a great commitment the company has in developing football. This is a great opportunity for the company to align itself with the country’s oldest club,” Ndovi said.

In addition, Ndovi said, through the partnership, the team would save a lot of money which was being used for purchasing water for players and staff members.
Ndovi said Wanderers who are participating in the 2024 Caf Confederations Cup, would also help Island Beverages to market the Kasupe water brand.
“We are also accelerating our commercialisation drive. We have a lot of supporters across the country and, as such, we believe our fan base will help to promote Kasupe water,” he said.
On his part, Island Beverages Operations Director Christopher Malani said they decided to partner with Wanderers because it is one of the most successful teams in the country.
