Mighty Wanderers are leaving no stone unturned in their quest to fill up Blantyre’s Kamuzu Stadium for the TNM Super League match against their bitter rivals FCB Nyasa Big Bullets.
The two giants lock horns Saturday in a do-or-die encounter that promises fireworks from start to finish, with three points at stake for the winner.
In the buildup to the day for the crunching tie, Wanderers came up with innovations to raise the hype for the match in their capacity as the home team.
One of the innovations was a town-storming event which started Thursday in various townships around Blantyre.
This was a mass mobilisation campaign that saw the club joining hands with its partner 888bets in storming Lunzu, Chirimba, Blantyre Market and Zingwangwa.

Wanderers Brands and Marketing Manager Greyson Chapita said they sought to engage their supporters ahead of the derby.
“We also wanted to encourage our fans to register under Nyerere Membership, as well as buy club merchandise and match tickets. We are bringing our services closer to the supporters ahead of the derby.
“We would like as many supporters as possible to conveniently access tickets, replica jerseys and club membership without worrying about transport costs,” Chapita said.
The campaign continues today with more storming activities around Ndirande Market.

Those doing the activities will then proceed to Machinjiri and Limbe Market before winding up in Bangwe Township.
Wanderers and Bullets have set an early pace in the title race as they vie for ultimate glory.
Bullets top the 16-team log table with 18 points, five above second-placed Wanderers, who have a match in hand.
