Leader of the Opposition in Parliament, Simplex Chithyola Banda, Wednesday challenged the government to present a clear and credible economic recovery plan to address Malawi’s deteriorating economy.
Speaking during debate on President Peter Mutharika’s statement at the opening of the 52nd Session of Parliament, Chithyola Banda said Malawians deserve transparency on how the government intends to stabilise the economy and stimulate growth amid increasing hardships.
