Silver Strikers Ladies Coach Andrew Chikhosi has urged his troops to guard against complacency in the inaugural National Bank of Malawi (NBM) Women’s Premiership.
The Central Bankers Ladies have maintained a 100 percent record in the competition following a 1-0 victory over Mighty Wanderers Queens at Mpira Stadium in Blantyre last Sunday.
So far, they are the only unbeaten side in the league.
But in an interview Wednesday, Chikhosi refused to get carried away with their impressive start to league action.
“All what I am looking for from my girls is winning all the first-round matches. This will enable us to be on the verge of winning the league title. During the second round, teams will come hard on us. I am sure the girls will be consistent in our remaining matches,” Chikhosi said.

Silver Ladies have remained with four matches to wind up the first round. They will face MK Academy Women, Civil service Women, Kukoma Ntopwa an FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Women.
Silver Ladies have 15 points from five matches, three points above second-placed Ascent Soccer.
On the other hand, Ascent defeated Bullets Women 3-1 at Ascent Ground on Sunday.
Ascent coach Thom Mkorongo said his charges would keep on fighting to win the title.

“It is too early [to quit]. Anything can happen. We are taking each match as it comes,” Mkorongo said.
Elsewhere, third-placed Ntopwa suffered their second defeat of the campaign after they lost 2-0 to MDF Lionesses at Champion Stadium in Mponela, Dowa District, on Saturday.
Ntopwa have nine points from five matches.
Civil Service United Women registered their first win in the championship following a 4-0 victory over Topik Academy at Mzuzu Stadium in Mzuzu City. The result helped them to move to position seven on the 10-member log table.
Three Northern Region-based teams Topik, MK Academy and Moyale Sisters are bottom of the log table.
Topik are without a win whereas Academy have one point.
Moyale are on position eight with four points from five matches.
