The Malawi Electoral Commission (Mec) has said it is happy with the turnout of young people in the just-ended voter registration exercise.
This has been said as Mec is preparing to administer by-elections in some parts of the country on March 17, 2026.
Mec Chairperson, Judge Annabel Mtalimanja, said this in an interview following the closure of the voter registration exercise on Friday.
