Major political parties that are contesting in the September 16, 2025 Presidential Election have said they will not continue with the newly introduced fertiliser programme if voted into power in the coming election.
This comes after, on September 8, President Lazarus Chakwera, who is also Malawi Congress Party presidential candidate in next week’s election, announced new prices of fertiliser for the 2025-26 growing season.
