Some Malawians awaiting repatriation from South Africa amid Afrophobic attacks have expressed anxiety as June 30 approaches, a date linked to a planned crackdown on undocumented foreign nationals.
March and March, a citizen-led movement advocating stronger immigration enforcement and greater opportunities for South African citizens, has announced a national shutdown on June 30.
