Malawi National Football Team strikers Tabitha and Temwa Chawinga continued with their impressive performance as both were on target as their team Wuhan Jiangda thrashed Hangzhou Bank Women 4-0 in the Chinese Women’s League on Sunday.
This was Tabitha’s first match in the league, having returned to the club after the end of her loan spell at Italian side Inter Milan Women.
This was her first league goal of the season.
“I have indeed returned to China Women’s Football League and it feels great to score. One goal from me and another from Temwa. That was enough to seal victory,’’ Tabitha wrote on her Facebook page.
Song Duan and Majun scored the other goals for Wuhan.

For Temwa, it was her 11th goal of the campaign as she cemented her chase for the golden boot award this season.
“This was a good performance from the team and three points are in the bag. We are good to continue from where we left off,” she said.
The Chawinga sisters recently helped Wuhan win the Chinese Football Association Cup as they were also on target. Temwa won the golden boot with 15 goals.
This was her second golden boot award, having also won after scoring six goals in the Chinese Women’s National Cup in April this year.
