Quadruple winners FCB Nyasa Big Bullets are assessing two Zimbabwean players as they continue preparations for the 2024 season.
The players arrived in the country two weeks ago and are taking part in Bullets’ pre-season preparations at Champions Stadium in Mponela, Dowa District.

Bullets Chief Administration Officer Albert Chigoga said the players were invited for trials.
“The players who are training with us play in different positions. They came to Malawi a couple of weeks ago. The technical panel will make its recommendations to the board on whether to sign them or not,’’ Chigoga said.
Times Sport has established that the players are defender Collen Mujuru and midfielder Ronald Chitiyu.

Well-placed sources in Zimbabwe confirmed that Mujuru, who plays for Premiership side Herentals FC, and Chitiyu, formerly of Simba Bhora, are trying their luck in Malawi.
“Mujuru is a utility player while Chitiyu plays as a midfielder. Chitiyu was released at Bhora after his contract expired,’’ the source said.
Bullets have already bolstered their squad with midfielder Lloyd Aaron from Civil Service United, goalkeeper Innocent Nyasulu from Mighty Tigers and Nigerian striker Babatunde Adepoju, who returned to the club on loan from South Africa’s club Venda Academy.
They also extended Kenyan defender Clyde Senaji’s contract after he starred for the club in his debut season last year.

Bullets will be hoping to go into this year’s Caf Champions League with a string after failing to replicate their domestic form at continent level in recent years.
Last year, the People’s Team exited the competition in the second preliminary round following a 5-0 loss on aggregate to Democratic Republic of Congo giants TP Mazembe.
Bullets reached the second preliminary round after eliminating Equatorial Guinea side FC Dragon 3-0 on aggregate.
