Malawian youngster Shaquille Gwengwe continues to hog the limelight when he retained the Golden Boot award after scoring 17 goals for English third-tier side Dorchester Town FC in the just ended-season on Sunday.
The towering striker has been a consistent performer for the Southern League Premier Division One side since he joined from AFC Totton in June in 2022.
Dorchester also heaped praise on the talented youngster.

The striker won the award in his debut season, having scored 13 goals, three goals above Alfie Stanley and Charlie Gunson.
However, Gwengwe was not readily available for his comment yesterday.

The Magpies (Dorchester) finished on position nine in the league –their best in 11 years. They lost 4-0 to Totton in the last match.
Malawi National Football Team Coach Patrick Mabedi said the youngster was one of the players he is monitoring abroad.
“The door is still open for all players who are performing well,’’ Mabedi said during a press conference before the Four Nations Tournament held in Lilongwe in March.
During the tournament, Mabedi featured Jubril Okedina of Cambridge United, Takondwa Maosa of Brentwood Town and Henri Kumwenda of University of Butler.
Out of the three, Okedina garnered more support from the fans after his impressive performance against Kenya at Bingu National Stadium.
