Local dealer in Yamaha products, Luthando Holdings Limited, has bankrolled The Times Group reporter Mabvuto Kambuwe’s trip to Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of Congo, where he will cover FCB Nyasa Big Bullets’ Caf Champions League second leg match against TP Mazembe on Saturday.
Luthando Holdings has provided K1 million towards the trip.
Speaking during a cheque presentation ceremony at the company’s premises in Lilongwe Wednesday, Luthando Managing Director Hendrix Laher said they believe partnering Times will help them to expand their footprint across Malawi.
“This is an important match for Bullets and Malawi. So we want people to follow it through reliable media platforms. We hope and believe that Bullets will do well,” Laher said.

Kambuwe hailed both Luthando and his employer for making the trip possible.
“I am really excited and happy with what Luthando Holdings Limited has done. This is very commendable. I promise to give Malawians quality coverage of the match on all our media platforms,” he said.
Bullets lost the first leg 1-0 at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe some two weeks ago and will be hoping to turn the tables.
