Football Legends Association (FLA) and Medhealth have renewed their partnership for medical cover.
The signing ceremony took place at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe City on Friday.
Through the agreement, 75 FLA-registered members will be able to access medical services of up to K10.1 million each per year.
Medhealth Risk Manager Wezi Banda said the new arrangement would see FLA-registered members accessing medical services without incurring any additional cost.
“We are excited to extend the partnership with FLA. With the new agreement, we have added new members as we want to reach out to more people,” Banda said.

On his part, FLA Chairperson Jim Kalua praised Medhealth for renewing the partnership.
“Medhealth is a true partner. We are excited that we will continue working together to improve the welfare of the football legends,” Kalua said.
He said FLA was considering increasing the number of beneficiaries for the medical cover.
Currently, 75 registered members are on Medhealth medical and funeral cover.
