Seasoned golfer Brian Coombes was decorated with the title ‘Sir’ after winning the Exclusive Bragging Rights (EBR) golf tournament played at Lilongwe Golf Club from Saturday to Sunday.
This means Coombes will hold the title of ‘Sir’ for a period of four months, in line with EBR rules and regulations.
Playing off handicap nine, Coombes played some good round of golf for a period of two days, having earned a total net of 70 on the first day before earning 71 on the second day.
In total, Coombes posted a net of 141—translating to three under.
It has taken him 10 years to earn his second title as ‘Sir’, having earned his first title in 2015.
