Amid a biting economic squeeze, the government has introduced a string of cost-cutting measures which it says are aimed at saving money and resources.
Thursday, Chief Secretary Justin Saidi announced 12 expenditure control measures that the new administration has pledged to implement.
The measures include a cut to fuel entitlements, which will see public officers including Cabinet ministers, deputy ministers and senior government officials have their fuel allocations reduced by 30 percent.
