The Football Association of Malawi (Fam) has spent $10,000 (about K17.5 million) on medical bills for Flames captain Frank Gabadinho Mhango and Scorchers striker Sabina Thom, Times Sport has learnt.
Mhango sustained an achilles injury while playing for his Betway Premiership side Richards Bay against his former club Amazulu in November last year.
