The Malawi Women’s National Football arrived in Casablanca, Morocco, Tuesday after travelling for 15 hours ahead of Thursday’s international friendly match against the Atlas Lionesses.
The team flew out of the country on Monday through Chileka International Airport in Blantyre via OR Tambo in Johannesburg, South Africa.
They had a stopover in Johannesburg before flying to Cairo, Egypt, at 22.45pm.

Scorchers coach Lovemore Fazili has included five foreign country-based players in his 24-member squad for the match.
The France-based duo of captain Tabitha Chawinga, Rose Kabzere as well as Georgia-based striker Sabina Thom, who were in the country, travelled with the team.
But Vanessa Chikupira and Bernadettar Mkandawire were expected to join the squad Tuesday.

Before departure on Monday, Fazili said the match would help him assess players.
“[Morocco] being one of the strongest teams in Africa, the friendly match is going to give our players confidence as we prepare for Angola in October,” Fazili said.
This will be the Scorchers’ unprecedented fifth international friendly match this year.
They have already played four matches, two each against Zambia and South Africa.
Malawi advanced to the second round of TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (Wafcon) qualifiers after Congo Brazzaville pulled out.
On the other hand, Angola defeated Zimbabwe in the first round.
