Air Cargo Malawi (ACM) and the Malawi Defence Forces (MDF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Monday which will enable ACM to transport specialised cargo consignments between Malawi, Sadc, Comesa, and East Africa.
The signing of the deal took place at the MDF headquarters in Lilongwe.
ACM Board Chairperson Felix Tandwe said the MoU demonstrates his firm’s progress in its turnaround strategy, following the successful delivery of medicinal cannabis to Europe through its partnership with Emirates.
“This partnership is a testament to our commitment to providing reliable and efficient air cargo services.
“We are proud to work with the Malawi Defence Forces to enhance our services and contribute to the country’s economic development,” he added.
